Born in Vicenza, Italy, and raised in the 9th Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana,, NOLA Po Boi embodies the spirit of survival and perseverance. After Hurricane Katrina devastated his hometown, he relocated to Atlanta, determined to rebuild both his life and his music career. What started as a fresh start soon became a movement. His talent and hustle quickly caught the attention of Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, earning him his first major deal and management under Big Sam of The East Side Boyz.

His self-titled debut project, “NOLA Po Boi”, cemented his reputation, featuring collaborations with some of the South’s most respected names—C-Murder’s TRU RecordsLil BoosieJuvenileYoungBloodZ, and The Ying Yang Twins. These heavyweight features weren’t just co-signs; they were acknowledgments of an artist who had earned his place among Southern hip-hop’s elite.

After surviving a near-death experience, NOLA Po Boi briefly stepped away from the spotlight. But like all true artists, he couldn’t stay silent for long. Returning stronger and more focused, he launched his own label, Po Boi Entertainment, and delivered acclaimed albums such as “Protocol” and “Private Party.” His singles “Build Up” featuring Jody Breezeand “Travelin’ Fee” produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, proved that his sound continues to evolve while staying deeply rooted in authenticity.

Now, with “Again,” NOLA Po Boi reminds fans why he’s a cornerstone of Southern rap. Teaming up with Juney Knotzz, the track captures the hunger and drive of two artists who refuse to settle. The production is smooth yet powerful, providing the perfect backdrop for NOLA Po Boi’s reflective bars and Juney Knotzz’s sharp delivery. It’s a song about staying real, pushing through obstacles, and doing it all—again and again—until the world takes notice.

Every verse in “Again” speaks to NOLA Po Boi’s life story: from the hardships of New Orleans’ 9th Ward to the grind of the Atlanta music scene. His lyrics reflect a man who’s seen it all but never lost his faith in himself or his city. It’s this truth and transparency that make his music resonate with fans across generations and geographies.

In a world full of trends and fleeting fame, NOLA Po Boi stands as a symbol of longevity, loyalty, and lyrical excellence. His journey—marked by resilience, reinvention, and relentless ambition—has made him more than just an artist; he’s an inspiration to anyone fighting to rise above their circumstances. With more new music on the way and collaborations brewing with legends like Zaytoven, NOLA Po Boi is once again proving that he’s here to stay and still has plenty to say.
